"PAINTING THE TOWN" | EVE NYC TOUR '11 | Art Remix Happening | New Art in Public Space Armory show Pier 94,
MoMA, L train - Bedford Av, Bowery Poetry Club and New Museum.

In March 2011 Eva Moll performed "PAINTING THE TOWN" at the Armory show pier 94, the Museum of Modern Art, the L train and Bedford Ave, the Bowery Poetry Club and the New Museum in New York City. This new art project in urban and public space shows a version of "EVE" committing suicide in paradise. A life-figure based on a visual statement made out of ready-made objects and a painting of "EVE 2008 | 2011"; remixed to an original sculpture and then processed to a final image with digital media. The project has been supported by the artists Christoph von Löw (photography and video), Heungman Kwan (photography) and Uta Brauser (body art interpretation and embodiment of the paradise at the armory and bowery tour stops), friends and bystanders. "Stadt Zirkus" at the Kunstverein Familie Montez in Frankfurt/ Main | HAPPENING

In July 2010 Eva Moll was part in the happening "Stadt Zirkus" ("City Circus") at the Kunstverein Familie Montez in Frankfurt am Main. An idea by Mireck Macke and Giorgio Capogrossi. An experiment mixing and exploring elements of the circus, urban life and the contemporary art world. Moll took on several roles in this "play". She helped realize the event, painted a large wall mural and performed the art-figure "EVE" at the invite photo-shoot as well as on stage. About 30 international and local visual artists, musicians and performers with diverse backgrounds celebrated this two hour happening with the audience. A guest states: "Experience" is the magic word. Right in the middle of Frankfurt City. Effecting directly. A funky night. A sight to behold." (S. Bugla). "EVE - Take your time" Video | Jana Schlegel | Eva Moll

Das Video "EVE – Take your time" ist ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt von Eva Moll (Wandzeichnung & Kamera) und Jana Schlegel (Performance & Schnitt). Die Aktion wurde im August 2009 beim Frankfurter Kunstverein Familie Montez aufgenommen. Diese Arbeit positioniert Wechselwirkungen zu zeitlichen Faktoren bei der Aktion vor Ort, der Postproduktion und der Interaktion mit dem Publikum durch Mittel der Präsentation. Die Künstlerinnen interessieren sich für Schnittstellen zu Kunst & Alltag und Prozesse beim Erschaffen und Betrachten von künstlerischen Vorhaben.

"An meiner kontextbezogenen Arbeit im Atelier und Ausstellungsbetrieb interessiert mich vor allem das Erweitern von Freiräumen und Denkprozessen im aktuellen Kunstgeschehen." Eva Moll, *1975 in Karlsruhe (DE). 1995 – 2000 Studium der Visuellen Kommunikation, Kunsthochschule Kassel. Lebt in FFM und NYC mit Ateliers in Offenbach und Brooklyn.

Als Kunst- und Medienpädagogin liegt mein Schwerpunkt auf Anregung von Kreativität, freien Denken und Vermittlung von Medienkompetenz." Jana Schlegel, *1984 in Suhl (DE). Seit 2005 Studium der Kunstpädagogik und Kunstgeschichte, J. W. von Goethe Universität. Lebt in FFM.
