In search of common grounds between assumed opposites, Eva Moll explores - conceptual and aesthetical - urban and organic structures to stage them with refreshing ease and self-conception. Her œuvre ties autobiographical themes to contemporary phenomena and positions it in the dynamics of popular culture and art history.
Best known for her colorful and bold works Eva Moll is an internationally recognized visual artist.
She works in the media drawing, painting and interior/ exterior installation. With artist–friends she collaborates mainly in the media performance, happening, photography and video. Moll mounts her works in multiple contexts, ranging from themes of every day life to art production and theory in general.
With exhibtions and performances in Europe and the United States - including P.S.1 MoMA LIC New York, La Mama e.t.c. New York and the Museum for Kunst Copenhagen – Moll captures the imagination of a world-wide audience and has been receiving critical acclaim. Her works are part of private, corporate and public collections.
